Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a CT Technologist I to perform computed tomography and molecular imaging, ensuring accurate patient history, proper preparation, and safe, high-quality imaging procedures.

You will apply ALARA principles, evaluate images, and assist licensed practitioners with diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging needs while educa­ting staff and students.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire; new grads must obtain certification before starting.
• Completion of a specialized radiologic technology training program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate images, operate imaging equipment, and follow safety and legal protocols.

Job description

Role: CT Technologist I responsible for performing computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, administering ionizing radiation, and assisting licensed practitioners with diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging needs.

Key Duties:

• Ensure patient identification, proper preparation, and accurate documentation of clinical history.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Perform prescribed CT procedures independently or with guidance, adhering to organizational policies.

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting.
