Job summary

UNTWN Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures with radiology safety at the forefront of patient care. The role rotates through diagnostic radiology, ensuring quality imaging and strict adherence to protocol.

Requirements include ARRT or NMTCB radiography certification, state licensure where services are provided, and BLS within 30 days. One year CT experience is preferred and a career ladder exists within the CT department.

Qualifications

• Radiography certification with ARRT or NMTCB.
• Must possess current radiography licensure as required by the state where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room and equipment for patient exams and maintain sterile technique.
• Perform CT examinations per Physician's orders and document deviations.
• Monitor patient status and transport patients as needed.
• Document patient information and protocol variations for radiologist review.
• Maintain inventory, labeling, and quality control of imaging films.
• Apply safe radiation protection and safety practices for patients and staff.
• Operate PACS to ensure timely availability of images for radiologists.
