Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares room, equipment, and materials for patient exams with sterile technique.
• Performs CT examinations per physician orders and explains procedures to patients.
• Observes patient and equipment, reports unusual occurrences, and assists patients as needed.
• Documents CT procedure status and results in patient chart.
• Maintains safety and quality standards for radiation exposure and infection control.
• Utilizes PACS to ensure exams are available for radiologist review and clinician access.
• Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Education

Medical Imaging Program graduate

ARRT or NMTCB certification within 6 months of hire

Radiography license as required by state
