Job summary

UHC United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures, rotate through radiology areas, and uphold radiation safety.

Minimum qualifications include completion of a Medical Imaging Program, ARRT or NMTCB certification within 6 months, and state radiography licensure as required (WV license preferred). Experience preferred is one year in CT.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Radiography certification with the ARRT or NMTCB within 6 months of hire.
• Must possess current or temporary Radiography license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room and equipment for patient exams with sterile technique.
• Performs CT examinations per physician orders and documents variations.
• Maintains safety protocols and reports unusual occurrences.
• Utilizes PACS to ensure exams are available for radiologists.
