Job summary

WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital is seeking a CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures, ensure safety, and maintain quality imaging in the radiology department. The role rotates through diagnostic radiology and requires current radiography credentials and state licensure as applicable.

Preferred applicants have at least one year of CT experience and a Basic Life Support cert. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, following physician orders, and using PACS to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Radiography certification with ARRT or NMTCB.
• Current licensure as required by state where services will be provided.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Background check as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room, equipment, and materials for patient exams and maintains sterile technique.
• Performs CT examinations per physician orders and communicates results or variations to radiologist.
• Observes patients and equipment, transports and assists as needed.
• Documents patient status, protocol variations, and data in the radiology chart.
• Maintains proper film labeling and quality through safe imaging practices and infection control.
