Job summary

WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center is seeking a CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures and rotate through radiology with emphasis on safety and high-quality imaging. The role emphasizes patient care, documentation, and adherence to radiology protocols.

Qualifications include ARRT or NMTCB certification within 6 months of hire, and current state radiography licenses where services are provided. Experience preferred in CT with level advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Radiography certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within 6 months of hire.
• Must possess current or temporary Radiography license as required by state board where services will be provided

Responsibilities

• Prepares room, equipment, materials for patient exams and maintains sterile technique.
• Performs examinations per physician orders and explains procedures to patients.
• Observes patient and equipment and reports any unusual occurrences.
• Documents status of patient and radiology/CT procedure on the chart.
• Maintains stock and ensures proper film labeling and technique.
