Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at Cobb Hospital.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification - American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and optimize technique to minimize dose (ALARA).
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast using sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and deliver final studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock life-support equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflows and coordinate with other technologists to maintain department flow.
• Follow regulatory requirements and escalate issues to supervisor.
