Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and provide a supportive patient experience on a 36-hour weekday day shift. The role is full-time within the Cobb Hospital radiology team, offering sign-on bonus eligibility and potential relocation assistance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique.
