Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient-centered care.

You will perform CT procedures, ensure ALARA, maintain rooms and equipment, and document findings in RIS/PACS, while supporting a collaborative care team and a safe, compassionate patient experience. Day shift, full-time, with benefits and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT-R and ARRt-CT certifications are required, with BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience and knowledge of ALARA principles.
• Strong patient communication using the AIDET framework.
• Ability to operate CT equipment safely and document per department rules.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines with attention to image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, maintaining diagnostic quality at low dose.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ID patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients; reduce anxiety and improve comfort.
• Ensure patient privacy and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and repeat as required.
• Document accurately in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and prior exams.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflow; support department operations and regulatory compliance.
