Job summary

Wellstar’s Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT exams, adhere to safety and infection-control standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a busy radiology department.

The role requires ARRT credentials, one year of radiology experience, and BLS certification, with a focus on compassionate care and patient safety. Full-time day shift with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the exam.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
