Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. You will operate imaging equipment, monitor dose, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images in a busy radiology department.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. This is a full-time position at Cobb Hospital in Georgia with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain low radiation dose (ALARA).
• Maintain infection control; clean and disinfect rooms/equipment.
• Verify orders and record patient identifiers before examinations.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care to reduce patient anxiety.
