Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team. You will deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging and provide a supportive patient experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of radiology experience, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and ARRT-R/ARRT-CT certifications. This full-time position offers a day shift with competitive pay and benefits.

Competenze

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography).
BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Mansioni

Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
Operate imaging equipment independently and maintain low radiation dose (ALARA).
Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
Obtain clinical history, verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
Review images for diagnostic acceptability and repeat if needed.
Document findings and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock life-support equipment as required.
Organize daily workflows and support department operations.
Follow regulatory requirements and escalate issues to supervisor.
