Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification - American Heart Association.

Aufgaben

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining diagnostic quality at the lowest dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; repeat/correct as needed and release patients appropriately.
• Document accurately and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers/retrieval as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with crash cart readiness.
• Organize daily workflows; support department flow with technologists/modalities.
• Support operations and compliance; keep areas orderly and stocked; complete clerical tasks.
