Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure image quality, and maintain safety protocols within a collaborative care team.

The role requires ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS certification and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience. This full-time, day-shift position offers a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography).
• Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and ensure quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining ALARA dose.
• Maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients, addressing questions and reducing anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Perform exams and administer contrast using sterile technique when needed.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding, and immobilize as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and re-scan if required.
• Document accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrievals as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and restock life-support equipment.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations and compliance.
