Job summary

Baptist Health in St. Augustine, FL welcomes a part-time CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf. You will operate GE CT equipment, prepare patients, administer IV contrast, and ensure safety standards while delivering compassionate care during night shifts.

This role requires 1–2 years radiology technologist experience, hospital setting familiarity, and strong customer service. On-call and holiday rotations apply; sign-on bonus eligible up to $3,000.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate GE CT equipment and prepare patients for procedures.
• Administer IV contrast and position patients for imaging.
• Explain the process to patients and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform high-quality CT procedures following established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Collaborate with radiologists for optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and safety standards.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and educate patients as needed.

CT Technologist (Part-Time Nights)

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a Part-Time Nights position working shifts of 6:30pm-7:00am, with flexible scheduling. Participation in the on-call and holiday rotation is required. Eligible for up to $3,000 Sign On Bonus, if hired!

Responsibilities

• Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures, which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Performing high-quality (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
