Job summary

Baptist Health in St. Augustine, FL seeks a CT Technologist for the Peak Staffing Internal Traveler Program. This 12-week contract offers part-time hours (24 per week) with shifts 6:30am–7:00pm and rotating call and holidays.

Primary location: Silverleaf MOB Building B, 8595 St Johns Parkway, St. Augustine, FL. You will perform CT procedures, position patients, monitor vital signs, operate CT equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging while maintaining safety

Baptist Health is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan Department at our Baptist ED Silverleaf location for our Peak Staffing (Internal Traveler) Program, located in St. Augustine, FL. This position is a 12 week contract with premium pay. This position is eligible to renew their contract after 12 weeks for up to two contracts in total. This CT Technologist will work Part-Time, 24 hours per week, flexible days, with shifts of 6:30am-7:00pm. Rotating call and holiday included.

This CT Technologist's primary responsibilities are to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments.

This CT Technologist Will Be Responsible For

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
