Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist at Baptist South in Jacksonville. The role supports the CT Scan Department, working with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety in a faith-based, not-for-profit system.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hospital-based CT experience is preferred.
• Must hold ARRT CT certification and ARRT RT licensure.
• BCLS certification required and CT exam privileges per department policy.

• Perform high-quality CT procedures following established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists for optimal imaging results.

Baptist Health is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at our Baptist South Location. This is a Full-Time Days position working Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety as this aligns with our mission to make hope, healing, and well-being accessible to every person as an expression of God's love.

Our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

Lead CT Technologist, CT Department, Experience

• 3-5 Years Experience working in a hospital setting
• 1-2 years Radiology Experience
• Customer Service Experience

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date. Positions designated as requiring a level II Background ( A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
