Job summary

Baptist Health in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a CT Technologist for the CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf on a 12-week Peak Staffing (Internal Traveler) program.

This part-time role offers 24 hours per week with rotating shifts 6:30am-7:00pm and rotating call plus holidays. The CT Technologist will perform high-quality CT procedures, prepare and position patients, monitor vitals, operate equipment, and work with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist with ARRT CT credential.
• Experience in hospital imaging and radiology workflows.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following established protocols.
• Position patients and manage imaging parameters.
• Monitor vitals and patient comfort during exams.

Job description

Baptist Health is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan Department at our Baptist ED Silverleaf location for our Peak Staffing (Internal Traveler) Program, located in St. Augustine, FL. This position is a 12 week contract with premium pay. This position is eligible to renew their contract after 12 weeks for up to two contracts in total. This CT Technologist will work Part-Time, 24 hours per week, flexible days, with shifts of 6:30am-7:00pm. Rotating call and holiday included.

This CT Technologist's primary responsibilities are to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments.

This CT Technologist will be responsible for:

Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.

Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.

Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.

Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.

Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.

Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
