Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality CT imaging and support compassionate patient care. You will perform CT exams, follow ALARA principles, and assist in maintaining a smooth radiology workflow.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS. Competitive pay and Wellstar CareerCare education benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (or GED) is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R certification required; ARRT-CT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and keep radiation dose ALARA.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Document studies accurately and finalize them in RIS/PACS.
