Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and support a positive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and work within the radiology team to maintain efficient department flow.

The role requires ARRT certification (Radiography and CT) and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with BLS. This on-site position offers a paid shift structure and comprehensive PTO, mental health resources, and wellness facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R Certification required.
• ARRT-CT Certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and patient IDs.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients to reduce anxiety using AIDET.
• Document accurately in RIS/PACS and coordinate with team for workflow.
