Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist at Douglas Hospital in Georgia to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You’ll work within a collaborative care team that values expertise, compassion and continuous learning.

In this role you’ll perform CT exams, ensure patient comfort and safety, document thoroughly in RIS/PACS, and participate in a schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Wellstar CareerCare offers education funding and guided career progression.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality with ALARA.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; explain procedures and address patient questions.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
