Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computerized axial tomography procedures and manage patient exams. You will administer IV and/or oral/rectal contrast, review patient history, and coordinate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic quality.

The role emphasizes safety, patient flow, and potential cross-training in other modalities, with opportunities to mentor students and new staff within the department.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate of completion in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography per IEMA.
• ARRT registration in Radiography and CT within 1 year.
• CNMT certification within 1 year (NMTCB).

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and related invasive tasks per department protocols.
• Administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast as appropriate.
• Reviews patient history and labs; collaborates with radiologist for accurate readings.
• Maintains safety, reports adverse events, and supports tutoring of staff/students.
