Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans, administer contrast material, and ensure patient safety and imaging quality. The role involves coordinating patient flow, utilizing multi-planar reformats and 3D renderings, and adhering to department protocols under radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing and administering contrast, screening for pregnancy, handling adverse reactions, and supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a Radiologic Technology program and appropriate credentials.
• BLS within 30 days and radiography licensure/registry requirements.
• Ability to perform complex CT procedures and patientcare with independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and associated invasive procedures per department protocols.
• Administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Review labs and patient history to ensure appropriate exams and safety.

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology
