Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computerized axial tomography procedures with contrast, ensuring patient safety and adhering to department protocols. The role includes acquiring multiplanar reformats and 3D images, reviewing history, and communicating with radiologists for accurate readings.

Candidates should have 1+ year radiology experience, BLS within 30 days, and ARRT CT or CNMT credentials.

• Positive attitude and initiative in fast-paced environment
• Ability to coordinate patient flow with multiple procedures

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and associated invasive procedures per department protocols
• Administers IV, oral, and rectal contrast as appropriate
• Reviews patient history and labs to ensure exam accuracy
• Documents and transfers imaging data to PACS for radiologist interpretation
• Maintains equipment and safety standards and assists in training staff and students
