Job summary

Duke University Health System in Durham, NC, seeks an experienced CT Technologist to join a leading imaging program. You will support outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and interventional imaging across multiple sites, with advanced scanners and a strong emphasis on patient safety and education.

The role offers a weekend option with premium pay, opportunities to mentor students, and a supportive team of over 60 CT technologists.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered and able to obtain CT certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scanner operations and manage related equipment per safety protocols.
• Position patients for CT exams using positioning devices and protective equipment.
• Perform exams according to established protocols and patient safety standards.
• Assist radiologists with imaging, IV placement, and contrast administration as applicable.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow; assist clerical tasks.
• Provide orientation and training to new CT technologists.
