Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC seeks an experienced CT Technologist to join a large imaging program. You’ll support inpatient and outpatient services across Trauma, Oncology, and Emergency Medicine, using 20 state-of-the-art scanners.

The position offers a strong learning environment, mentorship, and opportunities for protocol development. Starting 2nd shift with a potential $15,000 commitment bonus and $3,000 relocation assistance for those moving from over 50 miles away.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration or eligibility to obtain CT certification.
• CT certification to be obtained within 18 months of employment.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per safety protocols.
• Position patients and ensure proper use of protective devices.
• Perform CT exams following established protocols and quality standards.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IV placement when needed.
• Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
• Manage scheduling and patient flow; coordinate with departments.
• Charge procedures and supplies in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Provide education and training to student technologists.
