Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, seeks an experienced CT Technologist to operate CT scanners and related equipment, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. The role involves patient preparation, protocol adherence, and collaboration with radiologists.

The position is full-time, 3rd shift (Friday–Sunday) with a weekend option premium. Eligible for a $15,000 commitment bonus and $3,000 relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility for registry/certification.
• ARRT CT certification required within 18 months of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum two years' CT technologist experience; four years for promotion level.
• Duke CT technologist must obtain CT certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following safety protocols.
• Position patients and perform exams per established protocols and safety standards.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and injections.
• Schedule procedures and manage patient flow in the radiology department.
• Charge procedures and supplies in the EHR system.
• Provide training to new CT technologists.
