Job summary

Duke University Health System seeks to hire an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to support Duke Raleigh Hospital's imaging services. The role focuses on CT exams, patient safety, and collaborative care within the Emergency Department and inpatient populations.

You will prepare patients, operate CT scanners and contrast, assist radiologists, and participate in education of students. Weekend option with WEO premium applies; relocation and commitment bonus available.

Qualifications

• CT certification within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum of two years' CT technologist experience for Level II.
• Four years' CT experience for Level III promotion.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and power injectors per safety procedures.
• Position patients and ensure correct shielding and protection.
• Perform exams accurately per protocols and label images.
• Assist radiologists with procedures and contrast injections.
• Assist with interventional CT and ED patient workflow.
• Schedule procedures and manage clerical tasks in the EHR.
• Provide orientation and training to new CT staff and students.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely imaging.
