Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, seeks an experienced CT Technologist to join one of the region’s most advanced imaging programs, supporting Outpatient, Inpatient, Cardiac, Pediatric and Interventional services. You will work with over 60 CT technologists across a system of scanners, receive mentorship, and contribute to protocol development while delivering world-class patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist for Level II, or four years for Level III.
• ARRT registry and CT certification within 18 months of employment; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, inject contrast and ensure radiation safety.
• Position patients and prepare them for CT exams.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IV placement as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow; document procedures in the EHR.
