Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT Radiology certification and BLS are required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of patient care and safety in radiology workflows.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and consult radiologist for discrepancies.
• Explain procedures to patients and identify them using two identifiers.
• Collect and review patient history and correlate with imaging results.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and document usage.
• Evaluate image quality and consult radiologist for any modifications.
• Assist in code blue or emergency procedures as needed.
• Maintain equipment and clean work areas; rotate shifts as required.
