Advocate Health is seeking a CT Radiology Technologist to verify orders, prep patients, and perform CT scans under radiologist supervision. You will review patient history, ensure proper identification, and assist during invasive procedures, while adhering to radiation safety and facility protocols.

Requires ARRT in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, CT registry within one year of hire, and BLS. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and risk management training with a focus on patient care

Qualifications

Graduate from ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
ARRT radiology or NMTCB certification; CT registry within 1 year of hire.
BLS certification required.
No prior experience specified in the ad.

Responsibilities

Examine requests and verify orders; refer questions to Radiologist before exams.
Identify patients with two identifiers and explain procedures.
Interview patients for medical history and review EMRs for pertinent data.
Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol; record type and amount.
