Job summary

Advocate Health's Advocate Christ Medical Center in Palos Heights seeks a Radiology Technologist (MRI/CT) to deliver high-quality imaging. You will position patients, choose appropriate factors, and perform data reformatting for optimal scans.

The role requires ARRT Registry, 3 years radiology experience, and CPR. Full-time, 36 hours/week with a 12pm-8:30pm Mon-Thu schedule, some Fridays; coverage at two locations may occur.

Qualifications

• 3 years general radiology experience.
• ARRT Registry required.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients; select optimal CT/MRI technical factors and reformat data.
• Transfer patients to/from MRI/CT and prepare for examination; explain procedures.
• Initiate IVs for contrast media per department policy; use universal precautions.
• Obtain patient history to assist radiologist with examination interpretation.
• Maintain department safety standards and document equipment issues.
• Attend inservices and share new techniques with staff.
• Maintain good relations with internal and external customers.
