St. David’s Medical Center in Central Austin is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography and radiographic procedures with precision and patient care. The role requires adherence to ARRT/CT standards and collaboration with licensed practitioners for diagnostic accuracy.

The ideal candidate has CT experience and MRT certification, with BLS and Texas licensing, and will contribute to a high-volume, mission-driven hospital environment that emphasizes respectful, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting.
• One year experience performing CT procedures - preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of courses in computed tomography (CT) and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy.
• Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certified in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of CT assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-ray procedures according to national and Texas guidelines.
• Verify written orders match requisitions prior to exams.
• Follow exam protocol to ensure accurate results.
• Administer contrast material using proper technique.
• Enter charges and reviews for accuracy.
• Correlate patient history with procedures for radiologist review.
• Manage patient flow to prioritize exams and maintain efficiency.
