Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a CT Technologist to perform Computed Tomography exams on GE Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed and HD750 systems, following established protocols. You will conduct image post-processing, QA, and prepare data for radiologist review while assisting in scheduling and contrast administration to support efficient patient care.

This full-time role requires ARRT Registry, IDNS license, CPR, and IV certification within 3 months, plus

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program and ARRT registered (RT).
• 12–24 months experience in radiology.
• Stroke education: 2 hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures using GE Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed and HD750 systems.
• Performs post-processing of images with reconstruction software.
• Coordinates scheduling of inpatients and outpatients for CT usage.
• Performs Quality Assurance tests on CT equipment.
• Maintains equipment safety with daily tube warm up and calibrations.
• Documents patient information and prepares for radiologist review.
• Charges patient examinations and prepares images for interpretation.
• Starts IVs, administers contrast, and monitors patient condition.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.
