Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced radiology department. You will capture high-quality diagnostic images, administer contrast per protocol, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam.

The role requires ARRT CT/R radiography certifications, BLS, and at least one year in radiology, with strong teamwork and adherence to ALARA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Capture quality diagnostic images while minimizing dose.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA practices.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during exams.
• Prepare and administer contrast per protocol and venipuncture when needed.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and finalize exams.
