Job summary

Qualifications
Graduate from an ARRT or NMTCB accredited school.
Registered CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
Collects and reviews medical information according to physician's order.
Explains procedures and ensures consent form is signed when necessary.
Positions patients and administers contrast as required.
Selects equipment parameters and performs scanning procedures.
Transfers scans to PACS system and aids patient transportation.
Communicates with radiologist regarding Acute Stroke patients.
Performs POC iSTAT testing and monitors equipment.
Trains personnel and ensures safety practices.
