Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB accredited school.
• Registered CT Technologist with the ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect pertinent medical information and reviews physician’s orders.
• Explain the procedure to the patient and ensure consent is given.
• Select equipment parameters and log pertinent information.
• Perform scanning procedures and modify parameters as required.
• Organize images and transfer the exam to the PACS system.
