Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT or NMTCB accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Operates computerized tomography equipment for patients of all ages.
• Collects medical information and reviews physician orders.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures informed consent.
• Positions patients and administers necessary contrast.
• Monitors patient reactions and responds to emergencies.
• Organizes images and transfers exams to PACS system.
• Communicates with radiologist regarding acute stroke patients.
• Enters patient charges and monitors equipment functionality.
