Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a CT Technologist to advance imaging excellence in a teaching hospital environment. Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT R.T. and CT certification required within one year of hire.
  • AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine to complex CT examinations per established protocols.
  • Operate CT equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients for safe imaging.
  • Establish IV access and administer contrast under physician direction.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and uphold safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, residents, and technologists.
  • Support teaching mission by precepting students and residents as needed.
  • Assist with supply inventory and participate in service/process improvement initiatives.
