UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for a broad patient population. You will work with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to deliver precise, timely images that inform care and education in an academic health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited JRC program in Radiography.
• ARRT R.T. certification is required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
• AHA BLS certification required; Virginia driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations following established protocols.
• Position patients to obtain optimal images with patient comfort in mind.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment while following radiation safety standards.
• Apply clinical judgment to adapt positioning to patient condition and indication.
• Communicate with radiologists and care teams to support timely interpretation.
• Contribute to a collaborative department culture focused on quality and safety.
