Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• Wisconsin Radiographer license required or eligible.
• No prior experience needed; basic CT exposure preferred.
• Strong patient communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain medical history and verify orders for exam accuracy.
• Position patients, adjust scanning factors, and ensure radiation safety.
• Administer contrast under Radiologist direction and assist in scanning.
• Post-process images and label correctly for interpretation.
• Record study data in RIS and manage billing codes.
• Identify equipment issues and perform QA tests as needed.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfers; lift and move as required.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and maintain bloodborne precautions.
