Job summary

Advocate Health's CT technologist position in Wisconsin requires competence in operating CT equipment and following radiology safety protocols. You will obtain histories, position patients, and perform scans with precision under Radiologist supervision.

Certification in radiologic technology and ARRT-RT with CT registration is required, with BLS to be completed within the first 6–18 months. Eligible for a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• No experience required.
• Licensure/certification: Wisconsin Radiographer license, ARRT RT, CT registration; BLS within 6–18 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain patient history and verify orders for exam accuracy.
• Position patients and select scanning factors to obtain quality images.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper shielding per regulations.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under Radiologist direction.
• Document billing codes and enter data in RIS.
