Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging while focusing on patient comfort and safety. You will work as an essential clinical team member, ensuring accurate diagnostics and collaboration with staff.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, ARRT R, and BLS, plus a minimum of one year radiology experience, in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines, ensuring optimal imaging quality with minimal radiation exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining equipment safety and cleanliness per infection control protocols.
• Gather clinical history, verify patient identity, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, administer contrast agents via venipuncture when needed, and position patients correctly.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat or adjust as necessary, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department operations, including equipment maintenance and supply management.
