Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform diagnostic CT exams, adhere to ALARA principles, and ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This full-time night-shift position offers 40 hours per week with a sign-on bonus of up to $7,000 for external hires and new grads. Join a dedicated team at our 280-bed campus in Grosse Pointe and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant CT radiography experience; 1-3 years preferred beyond staff radiographer.
• CRT- Radiologic Technologist registration required on hire (ARRT).
• CRT- Computed Tomography (CT) registration required on hire (ARRT); excludes hires prior to 2008.
• BLS certification required on hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams accurately while following ALARA principles.
• Be a vital part of the CT team delivering high-quality patient care.

Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital offers medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care services. In March 2012, the Cotton Family Birth Center at Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital was designated a Baby-Friendly birth center by Baby-Friendly USA. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is also home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading-edge, hybrid surgical suite offering advanced learning, technological advancements and a wide array of procedures ranging from traditional to minimally invasive approaches.

Scope of Work

As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree or equivalent Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience 1-3 years' experience beyond staff radiographer level. Preferred
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Excludes team members hired prior to 2008. 1 Year required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
