Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join the radiology team in Chicago. The role operates on a Per Diem schedule, providing high-quality CT imaging support alongside radiologists and a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires CT licensure, ARRT-CT certification, BCLS, and strong knowledge of anatomy and radiographic/fluoroscopy equipment. Per diem shifts are variable and on-site at Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital.

Qualifications

• One year of acute radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Radiology/CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
• ARRT-CT Certification required.
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality CT images.
• Support Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Overview

• Department: CT Scan
• Schedule: Per Diem (as needed)
• Facility: St Mary's of Nazareth
• Location: 2233 W Division St, Chicago, IL 60622

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.

3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.

4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

5. ARRT-CT Certification is required

6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

7. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is a flat rate of $48/hr The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
