Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet in Joliet, IL is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Imaging department on a part-time, variable-shift schedule. You will work with radiologists and technologists to produce high-quality diagnostic images and support procedures, with emphasis on patient safety and image accuracy.

Candidates should have ARRT-CT certification, CT licensure, BCLS, and familiarity with fluoroscopy; one year acute radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of acute radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-CT Certification is required
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.16 to $52.77.
