Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin in Illinois seeks a CT Technologist to join our radiology team on a per diem basis. You will perform diagnostic CT imaging in collaboration with radiologists and support procedures, ensuring high-quality images and timely transmission to PACS.

Requirements include ARRT-CT certification, state radiology license/fluoroscopy permit, BCLS, and proficient computer skills. One year of acute radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2. Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• 3. BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
• 4. Proficient computer skills.
• 5. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.

3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.

4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

5. ARRT-CT Certification is required

6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

7. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $43.55. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
