Job summary

Prime Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Computerized Tomography department on a per diem basis. The role involves producing high-quality CT images and supporting radiology physicians in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.

The ideal candidate has ARRT CT certification, licensure, BCLS, and knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. Per diem shifts may include weekdays and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• CT ARRT Certification required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) on hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality CT images and support Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assist in performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and ensure images are properly processed and transmitted to PACS.

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Pay Transparency

Holy Family Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $42.00 - $49.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
