Job summary

Belton Regional Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging in alignment with department standards. You will produce high-quality CT images for physician interpretation and patient care. This role supports timely patient throughput in a busy radiology service.

Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM. The team emphasizes compassionate patient interactions, accuracy, and adherence to safety guidelines in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiology program.
• ARRTCertified CT technologist or to obtain within 1 year of start date.
• ARRT Registered Radiographer required within 1 year.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• Two years CT experience preferred.
• On-call availability within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and assist during CT procedures with care.
• Place IV lines for contrast administration when needed.
• Assess image quality and adjust settings as required.
• Provide post-procedure instructions and discharge information.
• Prepare and clean exam room between patients using aseptic technique.
• Follow radiation safety policies and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Schedule: Saturday/Sunday, 5:00p-5:30a

What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.

• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.

• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.

• You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.

• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.

• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.

• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.

• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.

• On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
