Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton, MO is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform radiographic exams for diagnosis and treatment. This role emphasizes patient care, safety, and teamwork in a busy clinical setting.

You will prepare patients, develop and process films, administer contrast when needed, transfer images to PACS, and maintain aseptic technique and room readiness between patients.

Qualifications

  • BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  • ARRT-R Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
  • Certificate required.

  • Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
  • Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Radiology Technologist operates standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:
